The founders left the company, while Esprit rapidly expanded on an international scale, recording a long period of commercial success. This DNA made Esprit one of the world's most successful and most profitable fashion brands. Today, Esprit is still one of the most popular brands. In Germany it holds first place, in the Netherlands second place and on the growing Chinese market, Esprit holds third place on the popularity scale.
